Beautiful and Proud is an exhibition celebrating Miss Florida Seminole. The Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum celebrates the majesty of the remarkable ladies who earned the privilege of representing the Tribe as Miss Florida Seminole. Learn the interesting history of the position, from the first appointed “Princess,” to the first awarded “Seminole Queen,” up to the current reigning holder of the title Miss Florida Seminole. Hear from former princesses themselves who provide insight on what it means to them to have served as Miss Florida Seminole. Experience objects that contain memories and history along with rare photos and film that take you back in time. The Beautiful and Proud exhibition officially opens May 28th, with an event to recognize former champions that is sure to inspire future ones!
